Music, Movies, and Books

It depends on my mood. I listen to rock'n'roll, jazz, popular music, Brazilian popular music, salsa, pop music in general. But some days I prefer silence.

Some movies I really like: Cinema Paradiso, Farenheit 451, Departures, Un cuento chino, Little Miss Sunshine, Paris I love you, For Rome with love, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Magic in the moonlight, Volver, Time me up time me down, Wild Tales, Restless, Her, Tango (from Carlos Saura); documentaries like Nostalgia de la Luz (from Chile and Europe), Ana Ana (from Egypt), Pina; and some animation like The Little Prince, Ratatouille, Persepolis, Kung Fu Panda.

As I work with books, sometimes when I'm not working I prefer to see something different. But I like short stories, cronicles, poems... Some authors I like: Manoel de Barros, Manuel Bandeira, Saint Exupery, Mia Couto, Italo Calvino.
