ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! I have had some great experiences with couchsurfing so far and cant wait for the next adventure! I am coming to British Colombia in September- October 2016 and really want to stay with locals so I can learn as much as possible about the locals and the best places to go! I work on shiny, fancy (way too clean) super yachts, and in my down time there is nothing I would love more than to be a grubby backpacker, exploring the world! I'm a qualified yoga instructor so repayment for me crashing on your couch can be repaid in OM chants!
I'm a down to earth person with a witty personality and an awesome sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyday life seems a little faster, things slip up, plans turn into disaster, so ditch your kicks and find a little escape!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I ask people if they would be kind enough to give this travelling kiwi a nest. I am travelling at the moment so can't host, but can't wait for the day when I have my own place so I can be a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Germany in Bavaria and it was fantastic! I learnty how to cook kanoodle and on the last night of my stay I made a feast for the people and their friends who I stayed with!

Intereses

The truth is I love so many different things! here we go: Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, drawing, yoga, contemporary dance, ballet, swimming, biking, running, harmonica, ukuele (I'm still working on this one!) cooking, painting, snowshoing and jumping off high stuff.

Música, películas y libros

I love all three. I love pretty much all books. My favourite movies are Finding Nemo, Juno, Lord of the Rings, P.s I love you and eat, prey, love. Music: Coldplay, Florence and the machine, Vampire weekend, Tegan and Sarah, passion pit, city and colour, phoenix, red hot chillie peppers, bob marley, foster the people.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Going to live in the jungle in India for one month to train to become a qualified yoga instructor! to sum it up; living in a tent, eaten alive by mozzies, 40degree plus heat, no meat, alot of rice, alot of karma yoga (working for free) monkeys jumping on my tent roof, frogs in my toilet and lizzards on the walls....... loved everything about it, made two lifelong friends and wouldn't change a thing about that experience!

I can teach you: How to calm your mind through yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. Contemporary dance, ballet, how to make hair braids and bracelets and bake awesome muffins.
I would like to learn how to play my harmonica better!
Also I love learning how to cook food from different cultures!
