About Me
About Me: Current student Psychology-Mental Health Counseling track.
Kind, thoughtful, compassionate, caring, ideally direct and straightforward communicator. Dedicated to open dialog and unconditional, unbound love with mindful care and clear boundaries. Enjoy community, collaboration, embracing paradoxical existence and providing spaciousness for all to be fully who they are!
This living thing is a fun -interesting journey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently: I prefer this means of gift economy, As of Friday, I have secured an internship in Key West, I will be training from August 19 through Sept 4th. I need a temporary place to stay for that period of time. I will then be traveling until September 17th and after that will have secure housing a few islands up. Thanks!
In general "why I couchsurf": I believe that community is everywhere around the world. I also believe it's way cooler to stay with a local person than to stay in a isolated hotel and being with people who are grounded in their everyday experience while I'm traveling that is nourishing. I also have had many friend's use and offer couch surfing around the world. I offered this when I owned a home and loved the visitors who came through!
Interests
I enjoy fresh food, gardening, staying connected to those that feed us and need feeding (metaphorically and literally!) I write. Traveling with the ability lend a hand or do some trade cooking, is lovely. Laughing, playing, interacting, being still together, philosophy, good books, poetry, sunshine and beaches, mountains and streams, hiking, biking, canoeing, youth mentorship, and challenging our assumptions, flipping our paradigms, growing. Van life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since dance and movement are a large part of my life, the music is always changing. Right now Ayla Nero, Satsang, Nicola Cruz, Yaima, Nahko, Random Rab, Beautiful Chorus...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is coming to mind...Not uncommon, but certainly "AMAZING". 20 minute drive out of Burlington through meandering mountainous back roads with lush mossy canopy to a series of cascading waterfalls and swimming holes fed by fresh Vermont snow melt. I love this summer location on humid summer days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach perspective taking, how to live in the questions, and how to be comfortable in the contradictory nature of being alive. Yoga, Meditation, some Herbalism, Expressive Arts, creating a dance wave, how to 'fix up your ficer-upper' (sold mine, but have solid building skills).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, Laughs, Games, Food, Music, Yoga, meditation, silence. I also help out with chores around the house. If desired.
