ABOUT ME

oh my, anything at all, huh? this could be challenging. i like to explore everything, so much so that my mind will wander off of something that was totally awesome two seconds ago to adventure down the path of something else. there are just so many beautiful sense stimulating things in this infinite beyond! so, i'm in the process of calming my brain, learning to take care of my body, and appreciate help. (i've been told i'm occasionally stubborn...who would have thought?) i'm saying auf wiedersehen to stress and over-contemplation. and welcome to a clear head and passions of my own.

PHILOSOPHY

as long as truly good intentions lie behind your being, and no harm comes out of your actions and words, than i believe you're doing just fine. and if you're feeling prejudice in any way, than communicate and educate. usually it's just a lack of knowledge. i think we should at least all strive for something close to this anyway. and yes, there will always be harmful people in this world, and unfortunately there's just no getting around that...aside from realizing that you are the shiiiiit! and you are your own filter. so breath in the fresh air!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, i am fairly new to couchsurfing and am not entirely sure of all the ways of participating, but would love to get more involved!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have not done much surfing, but in my previous home we hosted many surfers. i lived in a collective house in denver called post pony palace where many surfers would come through and sleep in the basement. this being where my room was, i had plenty of interaction with fellow surfers, which led me to eventually create a profile.

Interests

my interests root for miles. my friends and family, sunsets, bodywork, music, photography, spoken word, starry skies, trees, activism, energy, communication, trading knowledge, hula-hooping, warmth, epilepsy education, community, conversations, food, all living creatures (but i do love dogs and elephants), color, street and performance art, travel!

Music, Movies, and Books

i would like to start learning how to play music. i get down to so many different tunes and have the fortunate pleasure of being surrounded by so many beautifully talented musicians that it has inspired me to want to open up that part of my brain. however, recently i've been really into that soul stompin' mountain music! to me it's more about the energy that comes from the song, the energy that gets you dancin'! and the energy that gives you that emotional connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

amazing things happen all the time. watching the sunset in santa fe, showga in a room packed full of wonder, listening to him sing "oh child, things are gonna get easier" as he pedaled down the streets of adam, pretending we're mountain goats than sitting on top of the mountain contemplating how we were going to get down, planting trees in germany, contemplating life under a willow tree in the most beautiful cemetery, your face when i came out of a seizure, fire-hooping, witnessing my friend's life being saved, when you accomplish something you've been wanting/trying to accomplish for awhile, humanity, laughter.
