ABOUT ME

I grew up in Taoyuan Taiwan, which is very close to Taipei. I have traveled to a lot of places with my parents when I was young(4 and 8) but I have no memories for a lot them, and some of the memories are like flashbacks. I hope to explore the world, meet people from different countries and share different culture experiences. Hopefully, this time I will remember lol

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently studying TESOL at Salisbury University as a graduate student. Being an international student without a car in Salisbury, I found it hard to go anywhere(even buying groceries), and also hard to make friends. But, I still want to try my best and get out there, meet some amazing people, and make friends.
I live in a University housing with strict rules, however, I go back to Taiwan almost every summer and I'll be happy to host you there :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS, heard lots about it.
Hope I can one day have my own couchsurching experience! Looking forward to it!

Interests

Besides traveling, I love music!! I play the piano and sing a bit. I have been practicing playing the guitar, so I hope I will be good at it some day. I'm not an expert, but I enjoy listening and writing music.

I'm interested in language and cultures.
I hope to learn another languages well enough to communicate with. I've learned French and Spanish in University. I hardly remember any, but I enjoyed learning them. I'm studying second language acquisition this semester, and it is just fascinating to learn how first and second language are acquired.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Ukraine as an international volunteer by myself in my sophomore year, which was a whole new experience for me. We share culture experiences in local high school and universities, and met friends from all around the world.
