It can be hard to meet locals when you stay in hostels and are constantly surrounded by other backpackers, so sometimes it's nice to get out of the scene and get a different perspective :)

I like going to see bands play, and singing karaoke. I wouldn't say I'm a good singer, but I've been told I'm quite entertaining lol

I didn't learn to snowboard until I was 21, but now it is a passion of mine. I enjoy being in the outdoors in general. I like hiking, going to the beach, camping sometimes. I played soccer/football for 15 years.

I studied French for 10 years in school but never really had much opportunity to practise. I decided to learn Spanish a couple of years ago and would say I've come along pretty good with it, considering I'm self-taught. Always keen to improve!

My favourite bands are Rancid, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less Than Jake. I like lots of different genres but those are the ones I always go back to 😊

My favourite movie is a two-way tie between Singin' in the Rain and Some Like It Hot. I also love Scarface and Goodfellas. I really enjoy musicals!

My favourite tv show is The Sopranos or M*A*S*H*.

Picking a favourite book is difficult, but I would say the Great Gatsby. I really love Kurt Vonnegut and I've read almost everything by him. So it goes ...
