I'm a creative, friendly Kiwi who is inspired by people from all walks of life and like to hear their stories or learn about their culture. It's time to leave my corner of the world and see some of yours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm beginning a two year journey that is partly work related, but mostly an adventure, which I hope stretches me out of my comfort zone and teaches me about cultures and people from a more authentic level than just the typical tourist perspective.

I'll be living and working with children in both urban developments and more exotic locations too - Ecuador, India, Morocco, Greece amongst others. And I'd also love to spend some time in Asia, the Middle East and Europe too.

I like to wander around each town finding interesting photographs to take and people to meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic and independent festival type of films are my favourite. But I'll watch other things too. I love most types of music and like reading biographies or sometimes the book version of a movie I've enjoyed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For a while I was a photographer in the rural isolated parts of Australia taking people's portraits and family photos

Teach, Learn, Share

If you'd like to learn about my culture I can teach you to speak a little bit of the Maori language or make you a set of "poi" to dance with.

I'd like to learn more about yoga and meditation too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could bake you a cake, I love baking. I'll just need to find a local supermarket to get the ingredients.
