ABOUT ME

I've been in Budapest just over a week now. I want to meet everybody, from locals to other travelers and visitors like myself. I want to travel all across Europe (this is my first time in Europe!) and experience as much as possible until December 27th, when I leave. In particular, I would like to find people I could eat and cook delicious meals with (specifically vegetarian), listen to some good music (live as well as recorded), and most importantly, someone I could easily talk to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet openminded and interesting people in Budapest. I wish I could offer my couch to travelers, but I share my flat so I don't really have the power to do so. After meeting people however, I would love to have anyone over for tea, coffee and a nice meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once met an awesome band from New Orleans at a show they were playing at. They needed a place to crash, so they ended up crashing at my place for a few days. It was a great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading Lolita and the last book I read is Bukowski's Fact-to-tum. Some of my favorite books are Even Cowgirls Get The Blues, A Clockwork Orange, Love in the time of Cholera and The Bell Jar.

Some film favorites:Jules and Jim, Amelie, Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Royal Tenembaums, Pulp Fiction, and Coming to America.

Just a few favorites: Yo La Tengo, Super Furry Animals, Animal Collective, Pixies, Breeders, The Beatles, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, Elvis Costello, Beck, Blonde Redhead, Belle and Sebastion, Dinosaur Jr, Holly Golightly, Pavement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now the most amazing thing I've done is travel to Budapest. I hope to travel across Europe and expand my list of spectacular experiences within the next few months.

Other than that, the first thing that comes to mind is dancing on stage at a Flaming Lips show. Being a dancing alien and have the priveledge of dancing right next to them on stage was definitely one of my best things I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn more Hungarian! I would also love to be exposed to new music, movies, books, etc from all over the world - I am curious about all forms of art and culture. I am currently studying math, so I can teach/tutor that. I would love to share music, stories, and adventures.
