ABOUT ME

I work at music festivals and events during the summer which I absolutely love because of the chances it gives me to meet interesting new people, travel around the UK and witness some incredible live acts. I am always looking for my next adventure and planning trips, even if it is just a weekend in the next town! I love meeting new people and getting to know new cultures and ways of life. I'm sociable but can be quiet at times, slightly bonkers and full of energy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled with couchsurfing around several countries in Europe having lots of wonderful experiences and building new friendships and connections. I have hosted people in my home and organised meet ups for couchsurfers in my home town.

Interests

Any type of music, especially live music! I also play ukulele and djembe (or at least try to!) I love travelling, meeting new people and trying new things, visiting new places, socialising and having fun adventures. I'm really into gardening and appreciating plants and the natural world around me. I've just started a horticulture course and sometimes sell some of my plants online which I love. I hope that one day I can make it into a career... I love and appreciate almost all types of art and sometimes enjoy creating my own beautiful things. I like photography, sewing, drawing...anything creative. I always like to try new things so if there's anything I haven't yet experienced, chances are I will want to try it!

Music, Movies, and Books

TV - Generally any good drama series I can get into or sit coms. Doctor Who is my all time favourite and I love anything sci fi related.
Films - Almost anything but particularly if it has a good plot which makes me think or does something a little bit different. I can't stand films where you know the ending 10 minutes in!
Music - I am a massive music geek and will listen to almost anything! I haven't found that many songs I don't like yet! Rock, metal and folk are the favourites but also have a place in my heart for blues, jazz, indie, dubstep, drum and bass, classical, pop... the list goes on. Music is my true passion in life!
Books - I love to read, but don't seem to find as much time as I used to for reading these days. I'll give anything a try, as long as it is well written. I especially have a huge love for Dickens, he is an incredible storyteller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching England lift the ashes at the Oval while sitting in a private box sipping free champagne. Very posh and a completely unique experience!

Experiencing the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria, especially in Innsbruck with the snowy mountains in the background. Gorgeous!

Wandering around Dublin and stumbling across random live bands in little pubs, drinking Guinness and enjoying the Irish warmth and hospitality.

Couchsurfing, meeting lots of awesome new people and having amazing adventures and experiences in lots of beautiful and interesting places.

I'm always open to new experiences and learning new things so if you have any fun/interesting/quirky skills I would love for you to teach me. I can help you to improve your English, or teach a few chords on the ukulele.
