ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Minneapolis and I love the city vibe, although my soul always feels most at peace in the spaciousness of the country air. Working with youth, peacebuilding, and cooperative structures fuels me. I may have been a mermaid in a past life, because there is nothing that makes me happier than being sumerged in the water...well dancing, exploring, reading, loving, enjoying meals together and sharing heart to heart are a few of my other favorite pastimes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I offered my home when I lived in Belize when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer. Now I live with my dearhearts in MPLS and if it works out, we are happy to host travelers here as well.

A few of my favorite books are 'The 5th Sacred Thing,by Starhawk', 'Jitterbug Perfume,by Tom Robbins', and 'Translations of Rumi by Coleman Barks'.
I love the movies 'Willow', 'Ronia the Robber's Daughter', and 'Princess Mononoke'.
I love any music that you can feel in your body, and even more so if it has a positive message.

Sharing meals, playing in our garden, biking around town, yoga, seeing live music, and making art. I also love to speak Spanish, and if people bring music in to my home I'd be so thankful!
