Update Feb 25th, 2018:

I am taking a trip of my own to Morocco, Niger, Turkey, Kenya, Egypt, and Tunisia so I will be away from home for several weeks but look for me in April back in Bamako!

Just a curly hair kid pursuing the adventures of life! Growing up in a small town on the West Coast, I always dreamed of seeing the world beyond my little valley. Now having hitchhiked New England, backpacked East Africa and SE Asia, and crisscrossed through every state in America, I plan on never stopping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent the last year backpacking Asia and East Africa and Couchsurfing really helped connect me to amazing hosts creating some awesome memories. I am now living in Bamako, Mali for the next year working for Mercy Corps so it's my turn to be the host!

I am an avid academic who strives to understand using my hands, my heart and my brain. I travel, I sing, I laugh, I play, and I love making people smile. Agape is my life mission!

I've spent the night at the top of an active volcano, at the edge of the world's largest lava pool, in the D.R.C.

I am living the poster image of Peace Corps in Senegal with a mud hut, an obscure language, beautiful scenery, and plenty of color, music, and adventures.
