Interesses

I love to cook! My father is an amazing cook and inspires me to experiment in the kitchen. I enjoy creating a great tasting meal out of few and simple ingredients. And as you can imagine, I also love to eat! I was an incredibly picky eater as a child, so when, as a young adult, I discovered that I actually liked foods such as fish, mushrooms, tomatoes, and sausage, I've been on a quest to try as much as I can to make up for lost time! I also like to be active- dancing, hiking, swimming, yoga. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop), and while lately it might only be "recreational" dancing, that doesn't stop me from throwing down on the dance floor. Creative expression is important to me, and while dancing fulfills some of that, I also enjoy art and fashion. Fashion is such a versatile, functional way to express yourself every day and I will never take that privilege for granted! Lastly, I love to read and write. I credit reading for my big imagination and will always have plenty of book recommendations for you.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Favorite music- alternative/indie/folk rock, pop/hiphop, or jazz. I am really interested in finding music from outside the U.S. and in other languages. My favorite movies include- Up, Amelie, Annie Hall, The Royal Tenenbaums, Finding Nemo, 500 Days of Summer, Dirty Dancing. So many favorite books! Here are a few: Cutting for Stone, The Night Circus, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, anything by Kurt Vonnegut or Jane Austen.
