ABOUT ME
My story: I grew up on the NC coast and in Hawaii (Oahu). I moved to northeast Georgia at the age of 15 when my dad retired from the Marines. Went to a private liberal arts college (Piedmont College) in Demorest, GA. I graduated in 2004 with a BA in mass communications and got a job as a print journalist for a year until I got bored. Got a job working as a librarian on a cruise ship and I got to travel all over the place. Came back and lived in Atlanta for awhile working as a journalist, then a special ed teacher. Married my husband, David in 2008 and started a business together the same year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going through the Panama Canal was pretty amazing for me. My husband, David and I have been to two Wrestlemanias. We also found this really calm spot in the ocean on Waikiki Beach at the very end of our visit that we loved so much we wish that we had found it at the beginning of our trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
My husband, David and I have our own marketing, video production and consulting company for small business owners. We are both former special education teachers. I also was a journalist and worked on a cruise ship (Celebrity Cruises GTS Infinity) in the past.
