ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Kelly, but most people down here call me Texas! I'm a fun loving backpacker set out to see the world! I'm currently on my working holiday visa here and its been amazing.

I'm always up for new adventures and experiences. Currently I am trying to take advantage of everything there is to do in the amazing country that is New Zealand. I'm always up for new things and new adventures. Gotta make the most of my short time here, right?

After living in Central Texas for 23 years I absolutely love meeting new people from different places. I love hearing about just how different life is for people across the world. But at the same time I will always be a Texas girl. Seriously I'm so Texan I bleed Dr. Pepper.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in Australia and New Zealand when I was studying abroad in Sydney and traveling around a bit and believe that couchsurfing is what made my trip amazing.

Música, películas y libros

I love terrible horror movies. Just terribly done, low budget, make no sense, super corny movies such as Empire of The Ants. I do enjoy a good 90's movie. My all time favorite movie is Empire Records.

My favorite book is Brave New World. I'm always searching for new books to read, so If you have any suggestions lemme know!

Getting the chance to work and live in New Zealand!

Also one time when I was 18 I was dared by a police officer to tase myself with a stungun during my high school class. So I did.

Well I can teach you how to solve a rubik's cube. Also I can teach you the very basics of knitting. Finally I can attempt to teach you how to Texas two step, but ha I'm not the best dancer so I might not be the best instructor.

And I would love to learn to cook better! I would also love for people to teach me all different kinds of dancing, particularly salsa dancing.
