I'm a college student in Nebraska, and I first used couchsurfing last summer when studying abroad at Oxford University and traveling around Europe. I have had only great experiences! This summer I toured Spain with my choir, which was also incredible. I'm studying English and Music at my home university, and am passionate about both subjects. I would like to be a college professor one day. Some other stuff I do includes dancing, writing, and watching stand up comedy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an appreciation for pretty much any kind of music, I know everyone says that though... I study Opera and classical era music for schooling (I sing and play violin and guitar, and teach all three at a local studio), but in my free time I like to listen to folk, blues, indie, soul, etc. Same goes for books, I am open to reading just about anything and love it when people suggest their favorite books!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love singing and playing instruments, so I can definitely share some music with my host! One thing I'm (shamefully) horrible at is cooking. If you have a good meal that is a staple in your house, I'd love to learn how to make it and pick up some tips! I'm also always down for a good hike, or anything active and outdoors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you the spirit of "Nebraska Nice" (as we call it here!). Where I'm from, the people are notably friendly and helpful. I can teach you a little bit about Nebraska or the United States in general!
