ABOUT ME

I walk around grinning to myself like the Cheshire Cat, like I have a secret, like I'm full of hidden treasure. That makes me think - we all must be full of hidden treasure.
I believe that in the end, if my life isn't novel-reading worthy, than I did something wrong.
One day I would like to to start community art programs in third world countries with the help of students.
As I should hope that most people believe to be true about themselves, I am fun, beautiful, sincere and awkward.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly participate by hanging out with the amazing couchsurfers in the city of Cincinnati more than actual surfing although I have surfed across the USA and hosted some as well.

兴趣

I read. I kill a lot of time at the library raking the shelves most often for new music. Most of the time it's not so great but then there there is that rare gem. Of course I love traveling and sometimes i like gluing crap to other crap, urban and rural hiking, swimming, baking, taking longs walks with a cocktail in hand, stretching, chocolate, dancing to new wave, and daydreaming up new schemes which may or may not ever take place. Oh, and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
And of course I love my job where I get to help some great kids learn about and make art.

Books: The Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolover and The Messenger by Zusak. I like first person where you can get inside someones head and know them better than anyone in real life.

Music: The National and Sigur Ros

Movies: I love movies. I only like to watch them once unless its something that just makes me feel good. I can watch those more than once.
