Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm trying to host people coming to Warsaw. Travelling has been put on hold, unfortunately, too much work at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've joined CS in 2009 before going to Sweden and have been hosted there by two wonderful Swedes, Jessica and Andreas, who have given me a lot of tips what to see and do and who made this trip a lot more personal (rather than just seeing one city after another). Year later I visited Kyiv and had great experiences with surfers there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of movies. I used to watch several movies a week for many years and I'm particularly fond of Czech and Scandinavian movies.

Less books. I mostly read about international relations and history now (plus some philosophy) but I miss some good literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Tian Shan mountains in Kazakhstan. Otherworldy landscapes, avalanches in the distance, erratic weather. A harsh trek that made me realize I can do much more than I previously thought.
