I am currently a student who moved from Saskatoon to Toronto almost a year ago. I have a degree in Psychology but completely switched gears and now am studying fashion business. I love exploring new places, learning, food and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people while travelling and get a taste of what each city has to offer in a natural setting. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all music except for country, however my favourite types are alternative and rap. Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, Norah Jones, Kanye West (strange combos I know), Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, I really like it all.

I don't watch as many movies as I would like, however some of my favourites include Girl Interrupted, The Notebook, Catch Me if You Can, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Mystic River, every Harry Potter movie and Juno.

For books, I loved A Million Little Pieces, Perks of being a Wallflower, The Alchemist, The Help, and Shantaram. I have a decent book collection now that I always say I'm going to work on, yet Netflix often seems to call my name louder.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mount Rinjani was an incredible experience in my life. I was ridiculously unprepared for it but fought my way up that mountain. Very rewarding!

Some other amazing experiences include canyoning and paragliding in Switzerland, and swimming in our own private cenotes in the Mexican countryside!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very clean, respectful and responsible person and hope that I can meet interesting people along the way. I love to exchange life stories and am more than happy to attempt to cook a meal for you (hope you like homemade mac and cheese)!
