Hello! My name's Kelsey and I'm an English teacher currently living in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Japan. I'm originally from Ypsilanti, Michigan (very close by to Ann Arbor). I live a few hours outside of Hiroshima City and an hour outside of Okayama city. A few years ago, I studied abroad in Shiga Prefecture (home to Lake Biwa).

I love taking pictures, traveling, karaokeing, singing, dancing, and learning languages. I find languages fascinating. I have studied French in high school, Chinese for 1 year, and I've been studying Japanese for the past six years. I hope to learn more languages soon.

Music: I love all sorts of music. My favorite band is the Beatles. But I like all sorts of genres like KPOP, JPOP, POP, Rock, dance music.

Movies: I'm a huge fan of the studio ghilbi movies (like my neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away). But I love action and romance movies as well

I ziplined by Japan's biggest lake, Lake Biwa. I also have crossed all of the bridges on the shimanami kaido covering 48 miles (77 km).
