I'm on Couchsurfing because I feel as though this is the best way to experience someone else's culture and country. It isn't just about providing a place to sleep, it's about giving someone a positive perspective on a different country.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music would be anything by Vienna Teng. I'm a huge fan of her work. Otherwise, I like essentially all genres of music.

It's hard to choose a favorite movie, since they tend to range from movies like 'Up' to 'My Cousin Vinny'.

I really enjoy books by Neil Gaiman (Neverwhere, American Gods), Lisa See (Snow Flower and the Secret Fan) and Jhumpa Lahiri (A Thousand Splendid Suns).

Helped rehabilitate abused horses and equines.
