Hi everyone! So a little bit about me... Currently, I am an English teaching assistant and cultural ambassador in Greece. I decided to apply after I completed graduate school to gain more knowledge about other cultures and to travel. I will be in Europe for the academic year of 2016-2017 and who knows, may stay longer after that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join couchsurfing, because I just moved to Europe and am looking for an opportunity to meet other people while I travel as well as keep the cost low! And also, I am looking for a way to learn more about other people's cultures and couldn't think of a better way to do it than to join couchsurfing. Currently, I am living on-campus where I work so I am not allowed to have visitors, however, hopefully when I move back home, I will be able to return the favor and offer up my home!

My favorite moves include How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey version obviously!) and Frozen. I don't have a favorite book but my favorite genre is mystery!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ah tough question! Well through my travels, I have been able to experience many different adventures. One of the coolest trips I went on was in Hawaii. On this trip, I took a helicopter ride over an active volcano then spent the next day hiking through the rainforest to explore and see a waterfall. It was just such a magical experience.
