About Me
I am an American who spent the last 2.5 years traveling internationally. I left for an adventure in June 2016, and never imagined how incredible my life would become. My French husband and I met in Ireland in July 2017, and his new job has taken us to Switzerland. I love being a global citizen! Couchsurfing helped me to experience many countries like a local, and I’m excited to share the same for others and start hosting! Although we are expats, so are 40% of the city inhabitants, so I’m eager to show you around this beautiful place! We have a one bedroom apartment, and I am excited to start hosting! Make sure to read everything below before sending a message request, if you don’t reference it in your message like “I have read the rules/profile and agree”, then we won’t be able to accept you. It shows you’re serious and have read this paragraph completely. Also, please mention Five Apples to be considered. A few things to consider before messaging a request: 1) Our work hours make weekdays more difficult for guests, so we prefer hosting on weekends. 2) Couchsurfing is about an exchange of culture, ideas, and travel experiences, we will not accept “I ran out of money, I need a place to crash for the night” requests. Last minute emergency requests will be considered per the situation. House Rules: 1) No outside guests allowed 2) No drugs or irresponsible use of alcohol 3) Message us that you’ve read and agree to these. 4) Respect everything like it were your own, or better! 5) Keep things tidy and clean 6) if you break it, you pay for it
