Overview
About Me
I am an ICU nurse in Denver and feel so very lucky to actually enjoy what I do. I am intrigued by the inner workings of the human body and love the intersection between humanities and medicine. I always have a book (or 6) in hand. I love the thrill of solo travel adventures which often means sitting at a cafe all day people-watching in new cities. Couchsurfing has been monumental in shaping my travels and changing the trajectory of everywhere I have been for the better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CSing is genius. I feel so blessed every time someone shares their home and experiences with me. So much can be gained from listening to people's experiences that are different from your own. I feel so grateful to meet true lovers of life and curious people who are willing to trust me with their space and time and I can't wait to have a space where I am able to return the favor.
Interests
I am interested in critical care, epidemiology, sociology, public health, etc. I love the intersection between art and sciences. I love to learn! I feel freest when I'm dancing (ballet, modern, latin, etc) I adore music and play guitar at a grade school band level. I love to explore the outdoors - hiking, biking, and most recently learning to snowboard.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends heavily on the day-Leon Bridges, Lianne La Havas, EARTHGANG, The Marias, Bahamas, Velvet Underground, Anderson Paak, Steve Lacy, latin, blues, hip hop, etc
I love to read anything well written which I know is a cop out. I read a lot on public health , behavior economics, mortality, etc and try to lighten it up with sci-fi, novels, and poetry. Love Ross Gay, Ocean Vuong, Baldwin, Banana Yoshimoto, Kafka
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been really lucky with some unique and beautiful travel experiences. Biking through the Atacama Desert in northern Chile felt so free and other wordly. All my interactions with strangers all over the world have been an amazing gift.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn anything and everything I can! Currently wanting to learn to crochet, swing dance, make candles, and paint. Also I need to improve my Spanish so would looove patient teachers. I would love to learn to cook foods from around the world.
I can teach you to cartwheel [I was a gymnastics coach for 4 years] and share adventures, a good beer, a meal or some brownies! I can make you arepas [de Venezuela]!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can promise a positive attitude and a grateful spirit, a listening ear, and willing hands to tidy up or help with cooking.
