Overview
About Me
I have a Bachelor's in Social work and I will be pursuing another Bachelor's in Visual Arts. The long term goal is to obtain a Master's in Art Therapy! :)
I have been working with youth with developmental (dis)abilities for the past 5 years,
and I recently snagged a great gig as a Youth Facilitator at a Youth Drop-In Center -- I work with an amazing team, and we focus on providing a safe space for youth to be creative and unleash their inner-artists!
PHILOSOPHY
Rather than love, money, fame, give me truth (Thoreau).
The secret to happiness is taking a genuine interest in all aspects of life (Morris).
Everyone is an artist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to continue to see the world, and make connections with wonderful people!
I never want to settle or get caught up in routine. I have moved a lot in my life, and I have not lived in a home for more than 3 years --- needless to say I was destined for a change-of-environment lifestyle.
I'm a traveler in search of signification! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm...
When i was in Norway I managed to travel by Boat, bus, train, and walk (a lot) within 1 day.
I climbed a Mountain for the first time -- elevation was 2,750 meters. It was the most challenging thing i've ever done thus far, but the most rewarding.
Did a road trip across Canada and the US in 2 months. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am definitely a student of life; not a teacher.
I have a genuine interest in all aspects of life.
