About Me
CURRENT MISSION
life is a garden, dig it
ABOUT ME
I'm a college student at Haverford College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I love talking to people, exploring the world, and learning.
PHILOSOPHY
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction to positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst; a spark that creates extraordinary results.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking at traveling a little bit during my semester abroad in Denmark, and would love to help build the CS community by taking part in it, sharing, and learning from the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just joined the couchsurfing community, but I have stayed with other people before. I enjoy getting to know people and always try to leave the places where I stay in a better condition than I encountered them.
Interests
I have a wide variety of interests, including playing the guitar and piano, singing, hiking, sailing, playing ultimate frisbee, dancing, reading, adventuring, soccer, running, skiing, whitewater kayaking, and living in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to count really: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Count of Monty Cristo, Corelli's Mandolin, Sabriel, The Boy With the Striped Pajamas, National Geographic, the list goes on and on...
Music-wise, I enjoy just about everything, from jazz to rock to pop, but especially world music. I love everything about music - from playing it to listening, to dancing to it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every day of my life is filled with incredible and amazing moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was an exchange student in Galicia, Spain my final year of high school, and the couch surfing mentality is pretty similar to the mentality of the exchange program. I spent a year just teaching, learning, and sharing about my culture and learning about a foreign one. I'd love to repeat the experience.
