I'm an artist from LA, and am currently teaching middle school art in Kuwait. I was born in California, but grew up here because my parents are architects. I studied art in Florence for a year and spent a lot of summers in France. Suggesting that my childhood encouraged me to have a "travel bug" is somewhat of an understatement.
