O mnie
I am currently studying Engineering at the University of Cape Town. Once I am finally done I plan to live in a van whilst travelling around for a couple of years and then eventually hike the Appalachian Trail in the US.
But I obviously love travelling; and also hiking and swimming and reading and learning and eating breakfast. (I also pretend to sometimes like buildings because I have a degree in Architecture and don't want it to go completely to waste).
I have a dog named fifa (unfortunately after the game, as I am quite good) and I spend basically all of my time studying engineering things, and the rest of it planning hopeful future trips.
Also, I recycle. But I'm not vegan. So like a 5 out of 10 for environmentally-conscious citizen.
Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I first used Couchsurfing during my last trip to the US, and other than the obvious benefit of free accommodation, it was a fantastic experience. There is no better guide in a new place than someone living there. And each of them were interesting and wise and gave me new perspectives on the city and people and politics (obviously in the US it must be talked about).

Muzyka, filmy i książki
The Lumineers, Foals, Mac DeMarco, Yellow Days, Diamond Thug, Tame Impala, Caelo (this is my friends' band and they are great) and then a lot of obscure (but probably not) Indie music.
Lolita, The Fountainhead (this is also my least favourite), The Prince of Tides, We Need to Talk About Kevin and Malcolm Gladwell stories.
I like many, many movies.
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)
I once spent a night on a volcano in Guatemala, just outside of Antigua. The hike up was the most challenging thing I have ever done. There was no winding path that slowly ascended. Rather, it was a painfully steep, 'there is the top let's walk directly towards it' kind of path on little stones that slid you one step backwards for every two steps forward. And at the top, it was so misty that we did not even get to see the volcano. There was hot chocolate though. And that made it all just fine.
