I am a labor and delivery registered nurse who lives in Brooklyn.

Starting in March, along with a doula and my best friend, Emily, I will drive across the US, teaching reproductive health classes in sixty-five cities along the way for a project we co-created called The Fifth Vital Sign. The information we provide during our classes is unbiased, encouraging people to advocate for themselves within the healthcare system and to be more body literate. We want people to value their own and each other’s bodies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are offering our Fifth Vital Sign classes for free and need to keep our personal budget low in order to offer as much as possible to the project. We are funding the project by donations and care very much about honoring our supporters' contributions.

We have friends and families spread throughout the country but would love to have the opportunity to Couchsurf as well. Our classes involve community building. Meeting in-person and spending quality time with you and your families is part of community building.
