ABOUT ME
During the school year, I study to become a therapist at Luther College. I have a passion for mentoring teens and children. I love spending time with my big Irish family at our cabin on the lake, crossing things off my endless to-do lists, and traveling the world.
PHILOSOPHY
My country is the world & my religion is to to do good. - Thomas Paine
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Can you help me? I need help finding a place to sleep this summer (2012) from May 28th- July 28th. Two months. I've asked around & can't afford rent. I've excitedly accepted a few low-paying jobs teaching summer school in Fayette & nannying in Decorah. So, I'll be spending my money on gasoline & groceries. I'll be respectful, quiet, and considerate.
Do you know of anyone in Decorah with an extra room? I need to be hosted for the two months. I would love to repay them with helping out around the house/cleaning/yard work, etc.
PLEASE, let me know if you know of anyone.
Thank you very much.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed in hostels for a few months in Argentina, Chile, London, Northern Ireland, and Rep of Ireland.
I would really appreciate a place to sleep this summer for 2 months.
I'm not picky.

I've traveled, grown up under a wonderful support system, worked with amazing children, and have met the love of my life- my wonderful best friend and boyfriend, Michael.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love walks along the river, debriefing after a day of long hours at work, and philosophical talks at the meal table.
