Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Continue my spontaneous trip through South America!
ABOUT ME
I studied International Relations, pushing me to explore the world but shy away from politics. I am passionate about travel and athletics and love seeing new places. I am a fun-loving and silly person who never wants to impose on anyone and is always up for an adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to laugh and do it often. Usually I am laughing at myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I want to surf and stay with people around South America, traveling in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru, and then to host friends I´ve made and new friends wherever I live when I return to the USA in July.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with lots of friends and acquaintances around the world in my travels, sleeping just about anywhere and never making a peep when the time calls for it. I'm very flexible, but I love to laugh and meet new people and try new things, so this is an extension of that. I´ve surfed in the UK and Spain so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling in Burma/Myanmar was the most fascinating and best experience in travel I have ever had. It is such a different place with a unique and amazing culture, full of wonderful people. Seeing the coming-of-age ceremony of young boys in a small town I passed through and eating tea salad in Yangon, a food I have only seen made by Burmese people anywhere in the world. Another great experience in Japan when I participated in the Nebuta festival when I was 13, it sparked my desire to travel and to do the most typical, local things and not the things that tourists tend to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - English, Spanish, swimming, cooking/baking, knitting
Learn - skydiving, whitewater kayaking, other languages, more cooking, about wine, how to brew beer and how to drive a manual car (I blame the USA for this one)
