Recent New England transplant to Colorado making the most of living so close to so many great climbing areas and amazing mountains. I'm a neurology researcher by trade, however employment in that sector is limited so I'm making do with instructing at a climbing gym and whatever else comes my way for now.

Just relocated to Denver from Boston. My free time is mostly spent climbing, hiking, and going to shows.
I'm always interested in meeting new people, especially those that share my interests to go out for a hike with or to explore the city. Always fun to meet up with random people for a coffee and a good conversation too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I met 3 awesome Canadians slacklining in Iceland who were there on a climbing trip and introduced me to the site as well as to climbing. I've made a lot of friends and memories along the way because of them.

Interests

I love going out for a cup of coffee or just wandering around and exploring wherever I am. When I just want to do something relaxing I love to read or mess around with the guitar that I got recently and I'm still unsuccessfully trying to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked alone up the mountain in my hometown in the quiet of predawn to watch the sun rise over the lakes and mountains and see the world wake up from the summit.

There's so much I don't know that I would love to learn. I don't feel like there's much of anything in life that isn't worth learning more about, but I especially love learning about cultures, languages and histories. Learning how to do different activities and improving skills in the ones I participate in already is always great. I don't have much to teach, but anything I do know I'm willing to share.
