I host whenever I can and surf whenever I travel. I use this community as a resource as well as a place to stay and hope others will use me similarly. I have surfed and hosted many times and each time was a great experience that taught me about the world and myself in it.

Despite the rise of Air BnB, I hope the Couchsurfing community will continue to flourish. I believe in this community as a network for travelers and a way to share experiences and help each other. I hope these principles still trump greed and opportunism in our world today.
