ABOUT ME

I would say I'm pretty genuine, spontaneous, and always up for a good time. I'm also super laid back and nothing really stresses me. I also get lost a lot. My friends often tell me I'm a mess, but I like to think that my life just likes adventures. I love tea. I love meeting new people. I like art and photography. I still sleep with my teddy bear who is as old as I am. I grew up in the countryside in a Minnesota small town. I'm also married to most amazing man on the planet! <3

With traveling comes independence and acceptance of other people. This is why I love couch surfing so much. I love hearing other peoples' stories that are usually way cooler than mine. However, I hope to be a host and a surfer that people enjoy to be with :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was studying abroad in Norway I hosted 5 guys from Lofoten, 1 guy from spain, 2 girls from Paris, 2 girls from Oslo, and 1 girl from Germany so far. I've surfed twice now in Dublin, twice in Oslo, and in Bergen, Norway as well. I hope to continue surfing and hosting many more times!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed one night in Dublin before traveling off to Galway for St. Patrick's day weekend (2013). I took the bus back to Dublin (2.5 hr ride) to find out that I went to the airport a whole day early (stupid!) haha. But I remembered the way back to the house I couch surfed at the first night and they let me in with a friendly greeting and said that I was more than welcome to spend the night there again - thank the good Lord for friendly Irish people :) Couch surfing saved me a lot of troubles that night! The students who lived in the house were so amazing and honestly, hanging out with them was my favorite part of that entire trip :)
