About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to change the world and be changed by it
ABOUT ME
I'm a 25 year old medical student, which means I have very little time or money. For me the sacrifice is worth it because medicine is an amazing way to restore life and joy to people's lives. Plus I find it's incredibly fun. That being said, I am completely addicted to traveling, and I love meeting people from other places and cultures. Whenever I get the chance, I buy a plane ticket to somewhere far away and dive into a new place. So far I have seen most of Central and South America (except Brazil), and parts of Africa. My other addictions are running, dancing, and music. I run almost every day and try to be as active as possible. Where I live in Denver, that means a lot of hiking, skiing and rock climbing in the Rocky Mountains. For me, dancing is a must for any good night out. In general, I am a very energetic person who loves to have fun and enjoy the company of others. Come hang out, tell me your story, and let's learn something from each other!
PHILOSOPHY
I think the purpose of life is to love as much as possible- love life; love your friends; love the person sitting next to you on the bus; love plants and mountains and trees; love your mom; love the people who piss you off most; love your dog; love yourself. Love without asking for anything in return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a handful of couch surfers and have surfed quite a bit in Central and South America. I've met some amazing people, many of whom I have stayed in contact with. I am excited to keep participating and making friends from around the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been great to meet people from all over the world and really get to know them. The people I have couch surfed with have become good friends and not simply people looking for a place to stay or offering a free place to crash.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think my favorite travel experience was camping on Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. The lake was absolutely gorgeous, and staying with the locals was an even more beautiful experience. One night we made a bonfire and taught the Tanzanians how to make s'mores for the first time. Then we spent the night singing Swahili songs and dancing around the fire under the stars. It was definitely a night that I'll never forget.
