CURRENT MISSION
To end up with stories to share in the end.
ABOUT ME
I'm Kelsey, Battle Born and raised in good ole Northern Nevada. I've spent most of my short life thus far writing and reading, did my hand at school for a while and a plethora of job titles, mostly involving serving the public in one way or another. I've done most of my travels inside the States: California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, New York, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Massachusetts. Spent a short time wwoofing at a duck farm in Oregon before injuring myself in an embarrassing frisbee accident and was forced to come home. Now I'm quasi-responsible, work in a Pet Hospital and go to school to expand my knowledge of literature and the English language.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still trying to sort it out myself. Mostly, I feel like everything is as it should be, but that doesn't give you an excuse to be lazy and not go after what you want. Treat everyone with the same respect and love you'd treat your grandmother with, make connections, and be honest at all costs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting for now; I'd like to put in my karma dues upfront before I take off on my next traveling stint. Get it all sorted out with the universe ahead of time, and all that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No formal couch surfing experience, unless bumming around for a few summers from squat to squat counts (I don't think it should).
Interests
The general answer: books, music, writing, bar-hopping, dancing. I enjoy miscellaneous hobbies like archery, knitting and lock picking, but none I'm very good at. Mostly I'm a writer, and a lover of dogs.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite books: Peter Pan and House of Leaves. Movies: Anything by the Coens, (especially the Big Lebowski), Wes Anderson (Life Aquatic, anyone?), or any ancient colorless movie with lots of facial expressions and gesticulations, the type you can mute and put your own words to. And a random assortment of bizarre comedies from the 80s-90s. I won't get into the list here. Music: Cloud Cult, Flogging Molly, Big Band (late 40's-mid 50's), Bright Eyes, the Offspring, and about a hundred others that I also, won't get into now.
