Hello everyone! I'm relaxed, friendly, and I love meeting new people and trying new things!

I received my Master's degree in Anthropology in 2014, and also earned a certificate in Museum Studies. I currently work as a Collections Manager at a local history museum in Wyoming, USA. I love that I get to work behind the scenes and see all of the cool things that are not out on display. Naturally, I love visiting museums wherever I travel.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading everything, hiking/camping/other outdoorsy things, grabbing a beer with friends, marathoning shows on Netflix, and spending time with my cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never been out of the United States even though I've dreamed about it my entire life. I hope Couchsurfing will allow me to change that!

Also, I don't want to just be a standard tourist, I want to learn and share experiences with people in the countries I visit. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went on a 24 mile (39 km) backpacking trip in two days at the Wind River Range in Wyoming to see the Cirque of the Towers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to have fun with my hosts (grab drinks, play board games, up for whatever)! I am a native English speaker and I am great with spelling and grammar. Always happy to share my knowledge about anthropology/archaeology and museums. I also like to cook!
