About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find purpose, see the world, meet the people that make it go round, and laugh at all of it (not necessarily in that order.)

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a wanderlust stricken young lady... I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and for the past few years have called the world my home. I'm incredibly laid back, insatiably curious, and delightfully spontaneous (or so i like to think!) I am truly engaged by the stories of others, and enjoy nothing more than learning of people's travels. Oh also, despite the eloquent wording of this form... I am a raging goof, and I intend to remain that way.

PHILOSOPHY

My greatest goal in life is to surpass mere existence, and actually live. The invigoration that stems from traveling has proven thus far the most pure way to do so. I believe in humanity, I believe in dreams, I believe in genuine happiness. We all have purpose in this world, although we may never understand it completely... it is our duty to explore it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been an admittedly quiet CS presence (partially... well entirely due to internet laziness), but am always open to increasing my involvement, I just need to hang with these interweb folk more often...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None formally (in terms of cs.org), but I have crashed on many friend's couches in my time... If you have a somewhat cushioned spot for me to sleep, I'll likely not pass it up. My best couch surfing experience was staying with a group of college students in Granada, Spain... Tapas, cerveza, good conversation, and a stunning city... That's a perfect trip in my opinion.

Interests

Food, Wine, Beer, and the beautiful people that create it all.

Music, Movies, and Books

If it makes me think, or it makes me laugh.... I'll love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's a great deal of difficulty in choosing just one, however in my recent travels I can indeed pinpoint one moment in particular that permanently affirmed my travelosophies (oh yes... fun with words.) I was at Iguazu Falls on the border of Argentina and Brazil, staring at one of the most magnificent earthly images one can imagine, and the most euphoric natural high I've ever experienced took hold... It was in that instant I decided how the next couple years of my life would be spent... as a foreigner.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure I have an ample amount of tangible and teachable skills. I do have a great deal of philosophies to share, and a substantial amount of travel experience.... most applicable to this section: I am a decent bartender! And I certainly love to create and share all of the splendor that goes along with a good drink...
