ABOUT ME

Sheep shagger, mutton monger…call it what you will…I am now a professional sheep chaser. I traded the high rises of Seattle for the High Sierra’s of central CA, all in the name of an endangered ungulate (Ovis canadensis sierrae). I work for CA Fish and Game and currently live in Bishop. A small town made famous by the rock climbing community, a photographer named Galen Rowell, and of course mules, earning Bishop the respective title “mule capital of the world.” It’s an eclectic mix of rock climbing hippies and ranch living cowboys, with me fitting somewhere in between. My time here will be up in August and I’ll be on my way to Austin, TX to begin graduate school, focusing on primate behavior. YAY!

I've been couch surfing for a number of years, just not officially through the CS website.

Interests

Anything to do with the outdoors: hiking, climbing, bouldering, getting deep in the backcountry. Photography, especially black and white. Live music. And of course, meeting new people.

I love, love, love music and soon I will be living in the live music capital of the world, Austin, TX!

I'm a sucker for the movies I grew up with, most notably: Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Neverending Story.
