Overview
About Me
I am Kelvin, an university undergraduate who recently graduated. I am very easy-going and always keen to meet new people and make new friends! Even though I may seem quiet and reserved initially, but I promise you I will be more open once I get to know you better! =)
I enjoy travelling a lot, and am always up to learn more about other cultures and try out new experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had my very first series of courchsurfing experiences during my grad trip to Taiwan in June 2015 where I stayed for a month, and I had an amazing experience there with my hosts and all the friends I made there.
Therefore I am really excited to meet new people through my future travels and what better way to do that than to couchsurf!
Interests
Travelling, food, music, books, nature, learning about other people's cultures and making new friends!
Another great passion of mine will have to be volunteering. I really enjoyed my trips to China, Cambodia and Myanmar, interacting with the children in schools and orphanages. The happiness when you see the smiles on their faces is simply priceless. =)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a wide range of mainstream English and Chinese songs, and a good bunch of other genres as well.
I also watch a wide range of movies, though I guess movies with meaning resonate well with me. I love those with a good twist at the end too!
Books-wise, I am more into mystery, crime and detective fiction, but I do explore other genres as well, like the occasional chick-lit even. And recently, being inspired by all the amazing travel experiences and stories I have heard from my friends during my couchsurfing days, I am very keen to read up on anything inspiring and travel related.
That being said, I'm up for anything new, so if there's something you are passionate about, please share it with me!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed in London for a year for a student exchange programme. Those travel experiences in Europe are some of the things I'll never forget in my life.
The people, the food, the scenery. And this is the reason why travelling continues to be my number one priority in life! =)
And recently went to Taiwan for my grad trip where I couchsurfed round island and met amazing people and made amazing friends along the way. =D
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always up for learning something new and trying out new experiences. I mean, that's the fun in travelling and seeing the world, isn't it? =)
I am not too sure what I can bring to the table, but if there's anything you guys wanna learn or know from me, I'll gladly share!
