CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world, experience different culture, make friends from other countries
ABOUT ME
- Open-mined
Born in mainland China and grew up in Hong Kong, I have chances to learn & know both eastern and western culture, which fascinate me a lot. I would like to explore more about the world, making friends from other culture backgrounds, sharing life, culture, etc. Though being an engineering students, I am more than happy to study humanities. I studied Feminism and Political Philosophy in first year. I enjoyed it a lot.
- Outgoing & Positive
I actively participate in lots of voluntary works, helping the needed. For example, I have been to Yan'an, a poor Chinese city, as a voluntary teacher to tutor students for three weeks. Besides, I have many hobbies - playing tennis, running, camping, travelling, boxing, etc. All of them make enrich my life.
- Talkative & Easy-going
I enjoy both sharing and listening, especially when I meet some foreigners. I am more than happy to share everything I know as long as the others are ready and willing to listen. At the same time, I am glad to listen to sharing from others about life, culture. etc. I am very easy-going and adaptive, can either stay in hostels or hotels(if I have money. haha!!).
- Polite & Disciplined
I will definitely show respect to different cultures, customs, religions and life styles. I manage myself quite well, leading a quite healthy life. Normally sleep before 11pm and wake up before 8am. NO smoking, no junk food, rarely drink alcohol.
- Countries I have been to
Norway - Oslo, Bergen
Denmark - Copenhagen
Hungry - Budapest
Croatia - Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb

Austria - Vienna, Salzburg

Don't take everything for granted, always be humble.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was given a book called "Another Way to Travel". This book is about travelling sharing of some people who don't like mainstream travelling style, shopping, photo-taking, sightseeing but like culture sharing, voluntary works, contributions to local communities. I knew couch-surfing from that book and that is the travelling style I long for - meeting locals to share life, culture, etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couch-surfing experience was in Berlin, Germany. It was great to meet a young couple who are very kind, friendly, open-minded and easy-going. That encourages me to carry on couch-surfing and I do believe it's the best way to travel since what you gain is more than sightseeing. So far I have surfed for several times and met many nice people. I had a very nice time with all of them.
