ABOUT ME

My name is Kemas Destia, you can call me. I studied accounting and already got my Bachelor Degree in 2017. Now, I'm studying Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management at Griffith University, Gold Coast. I arrived in Australia in the beginning of 2022, after waiting for 2 year for the border to open. I quarantined for 2 weeks in Brisbane, and finally arrived in GC.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch-surf for a night in Bremen. It was really awesome. I got a comfortable couch in a flat. I was really tired at that time after 14 hours flight from Indonesia to Germany. But I have a lot of fun visiting the city with my host.

My second experience was when I traveled in France. I got a really kind-hearted woman who let me stay there for 2 weeks, even left the key with me while she was traveling to the Netherland. It was one of my best experience ever because she accompanied me to see the most epic places, she cooked, and she also introduced me to her friend who lived in Paris. We also celebrate birthdays of another couch-surfer and walked until midnight even there were no bus anymore. Midnight in Paris was the best because the light was up and the Eiffel looks more beautiful!!! Thanks, Ibtihel, my host.

兴趣

I really love to sing, although my voice is not good enough, hahaha, I love to meet someone but I'm a little bit shy to meet them for the first meeting, but after I know the people and they know me everything's gonna be alright, :D I also love to play guitar, and a little experience to play keyboard/piano

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was a volunteer in Romania for 6 weeks. I was the trainer for 10 grade students in Targu Mures, Romania, in Grow National Project, from AIESEC. It was really life changing experience. And now I miss Romania and the people. Te Iubesc!
