About Me

Im a 21 year old Veggie (Vegetarian/Vegan) from London, England currently planning on spending the next 6 months-1 year gaining some more life experiences and travelling around the world. I love books, adventure and meeting new people (hosts and other travellers). So feel free to send me a friend request on here if you're a fellow traveller and any of our travel dates align or if you're a host in a funky, interesting country open to possibly building a new friendship and proving me with a place to rest my head on at night (Female hosts preferred!) ! 💘You can also message me for my Facebook, etc so we can add each other and contact better via that way and for your safety and mine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, experience new cultures and put myself out there more. You only get one life so might as well make the most of it as much as you can. I adore exploring new places and experiencing things not only from the tourist point of view but also from a more natural/real local point of view. I feel like Couchsurfing vs hotels, etc will provide me with a more 'real-er' experience when travelling around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adoreeeee Kdramas (Korean Dramas), some of my favs include the classic Coffee Prince(2007), Goblin and It's Okay, That's love. I could spend a whole day watching an entire show from start to finish (most Kdramas only have like 1 season/16-20 episodes so I guess it's not thaaat bad 😂😭😩) and be completely satisfied. Just started to get back into reading after a major hiatus from being too 'busy' but one of my favourites- if not fav- book (ATM) has to be The Alchemist 💘

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo travel has to been one of the amazing things I've done! Travelled to Amsterdam this year alone for the first time (and looking to head back again soon cause I loved it so much!). Being a 'solo female traveller' and travelling for the first time alone after reading all the horror stories and being warned against it by some friends and fam I was slightly apprehensive but it was amazing! And I've since caught the travel bug hahah.
I met so many interesting, funny and friendly people and got to just absorb the environment, explore and wander around a place I had never been before, and learn to truly enjoy my own company as well as the companies of other interesting travellers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to teach English (native speaker) and the very very minute Yoruba that I know (Yoruba is one of the main languages spoken in Nigeria, West Africa). I'd also be open to revealing the glory of Nigerian Films which is also known as Nollywood, don't worry there are generally always subtitles, but these artistic forms of expressions also known as Nigerian movies are soooo funny and a great past-time (well atleast in my opinion). I really do love learning languages and new cultures so would love to learn and improve on my French & Spanish (taught in School & Univeristy, respectively but not fluent at all sadly!) as well as Dutch, Korean and many more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

London slang, crumpets and tea (only joking haha!)
Im a easy going, fun-loving and open minded person so I'm always down for adventures and trying new things, so if the hosts ever need a partner in crime or buddy to join them in an activity or just for a walk I'd be more than happy to be that person to chat with and experience new things with!
