ABOUT ME

I grew up in the suburbs of Colorado and went to school outside of LA. Some of my favorite memories from growing up are of family vacations around the US and to Europe. I studied in China for a semester, and then came out to Korea after college to take a break from my studies. I love trying new foods, being outdoors, reading, and exploring big cities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been so fortunate in life - I've had some great experiences. A relatively recent favorite, though, was sitting on a rock outcropping in a Buddhist temple in the mountains outside of Gyeongju, Korea listening to the monks finishing their evening chants as the sun set.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a reasonable self-taught vegetarian cook. I'm interested in science - especially space science - and love sharing what I've been learning recently. I can teach you how to throw a decent punch.
