I travel a lot. I've now been to Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, The Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, England and Scotland, Iceland, The U.S.A., Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Japan, South Korea, The Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. I love meeting people and a ton of the friends that I have on Facebook were all met while traveling. My roommate had a couchsurfing account while we lived in Japan, so I'm not a stranger to the process or helping people out. I just have never had my own account.

Traveling is expensive! If I can give people a cheap place to stay and if I can get one it return, it works out for both of us.
I also love to show off my city. Toronto has so many gems that you wouldn't know about if you just took a Lonely Planet or relied on a tour. I love exchanging information about good restaurants and bars and fun things to do and I hope other people are willing to do the same when I travel!
