About Me

Hi everybody,

In March we decided to go for a one-year trip with my girlfriend Romane, as we finished our studies in France. After 4 months working in Buenos Aires we are now willing to travel to Chile, Bolivia and Peru. Then, we planned to go north to Mexico and the final stop: Vancouver.

I studied journalism in Paris and politics in Lyon and Romane humanitarian action, she works in NGOs (7 months in Haiti). Our goal during our trip is to meet unforgettable people, cultures and landscapes, and share our experience with others. And as French people, we obviously love discover the food of other countries!

We never had the chance to host somebody as couchsurfers because we are just beginning to use this plateform but as soon as we have a home we will be happy to share it with other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A lot of couchsurfers friends told us about the many good memories they have of their trips using couchsurfing, so we wanted to try it by ourself. We find hostels and others really cool too but we would like to share more, that's why we are chosing Couchsurfing this time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ken loves hip-hop, in France he works with a lot of rappers. We like Ken Loach and Martin Scorsese movies. Generally, we are interested in the historical and societal of a movie but we love the aestetic of Wes Anderson's or Tarantino's movies too.

As a journalist, I read a lot of investigation's books and I'm a fan of Emile Zola. Romane reads more than me, she loves french classics such as; Notre Dame de Paris, le Père Goriot, Bel-Ami, le Rouge et le Noir etc. but also latino-american and haitian litterature, which is unfortunately neglected in France.
