Ken (a.k.a 'Designer Ken', as what many of my friends identify me as) here from the 'Little Red Dot' of the world, Singapore!

I am a freelance fashion designer/stylist, freelance model, and freelance actor, and I am simply a fashionista who loves travelling around the world, mainly to U.K, and Europe, and recently to some nearby Asian countries as well (Thanks to some of my friends from U.K and Europe I would say... And well, hopefully to U.S and some other parts of the world someday as well!), for fashion expeditions and collaborations, as well as explorations of fashion, arts, and culture, and getting to know people from all around the world to learn more about their lifestyles and cultures to be inspired, and hopefully I'll inspires them as well with my culture, beliefs, and creations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a fashionista and lover of arts and culture, I loves getting to meet and know people from all around the world to learn more about their lifestyles and cultures, and hopefully I'll be inspired by them for more of my upcoming and future creations, and at the same time, I'll also inspires and amaze them as well with my culture, beliefs, and creations. I truly believes that one of the best ways of cultural exchange, or rather learning and experiencing different cultures is definitely through the lifestyles of people, and the best way to experiencing it is through personal interactions and the first hand experience of living the lifestyle together.

And also, just like anyone in this world, having been through the norms of so many ups and downs in life, I recently looked back at all my travelling experiences throughout the years, and came to realised that happiness is more important, and that money, or rather all the material stuffs of this world can't necessarily always buy or rather give you happiness. And since I only lives once, all I want for myself is just to make the best out of all that I have, and to pursue what my heart desires, and hopefully I'll be able to share all my life experiences and creations with people from all around the world, and that it would be of an inspiration to them as well as becoming parts of my 'baggage of memories' for life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I loves any music, books, and movies that's meaningful and inspiring to me.

I loves songs by Mariah Carey, because she sings about believing in yourself, and most of all, she has got the best voice among female artistes in the pop music industry. Other then that, I am also open to exploring any other music in all kinds of genres and languages, so long as they are meaningful and inspiring.

And of course, as a fashionista and lover of arts and culture, I enjoys reading books on creating and styling fashion, as well as biographies of some of the greatest fashion designers and books of pictorial collections of some of the most gorgeous and influential fashion icons and movie stars. Art films and movies with meaningful and inspiring storylines are my favourite as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My visit to Reykjavik, Iceland, in 2018 whereby I had my very first relaxing experience in a geothermal spa, the Blue Lagoon, which is one of the 25 wonders of the world. I also enjoyed the experience of a city break from the usual busy city life, which is very common in my country, Singapore, as well as most of the cities I've visited back then. I really enjoyed relaxing and unwinding through experiencing the laid back lifestyles of the Icelandic city, and I am truly amazed by how the Icelandic lifestyle can be so simple and yet enjoyable.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? LOL!!! Oh well, what do I have to offers, other then my knowledges related to fashion and styling, and perhaps maybe some simple conversations in Mandarin? Well, let's see...

Of course, I am more then happy to share with you my very own culture and beliefs, as well as the culture, lifestyles, and interesting facts about my country, the 'Little Red Dot Of The World', Singapore. I can also share my travel experiences to countries I've visited, as well as my limited knowledges of the cultures and lifestyles of the countries I've visited so far if you are interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts
