Misfit, very curious about lots of things. Before the internet I would go to library constantly looking up things. Self reliant. We go somewhere every year different. Hiking Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, other parks last few years. Hike and camp in Ozarks when its not summer here. Like to meet interesting people which is everyone for at least a while.
Very patient wife who is from Philippians. She is interested in cooking and all our adventures. She is teaching me Ilocono language one word a week. So we can walk around Walmart making fun of people without being killed. I'm terrible at languages. Learned some French but even that was hard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know tourist in our tourist town never would meet real locals here. I think it would be fun meeting people who aren't from US. Don't really expect anyone coming around here from outside US unless they are here for trout fishing. Its small town in Arkansas Ozarks far from anything. Had brown trout world record for a while and famous for people who care about that. We care about catching dinner.
