About Me
I work as a paralegal with a workers' and immigrant rights organization in Rochester NY, it's rich and full of sorrow and joy, happy to tell you more about it in person if you're interested!!
I'm not vegan/vegetarian but often eat like one.
I like to read. If fiction I really like Russian literature. Ivan Turgenev is my fave. Looking to branch out and am open to suggestions!!
But I rarely read fiction, mostly non-fiction - works of history, human interest, and critical / political geography.
[July-19] Currently reading: Enchanted Wanderer, Nikolai Leskov
[12-6-18] Rudin by Ivan Turgenev; Understories by Jake Kosek, about the cultural politics of National Forests in New Mexico
[undated]Recent Reads: The Death and Life of the Great Lakes; A Brief History of Neoliberalism; Geopiracy: Oaxaca, Militant Empiricism, & Geographical Thought; A Sportsman's Notebook; Energy and Equity.
Overall I'd say I'm a generally-positive-outlook, mellow dude. Interested in and curious about just about everything (especially if I can politicize it :D)
