ABOUT ME

Hang out with Ken only if your idea of a good time is chilled out, and yet occasionally life-threatening (in a devilishly fun way, of course)

On the other hand, I aspire to find out how to live a life of excess on a shoestring budget. A bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, some Foie gras spread on wholewheat toast and/or a side of caviar and vodka in a ghetto alley, anyone? (Yes, you guys get to join me)

I've worked in the wine trade for 3 years, but don't start arguing with me about whether or not a Lafite is worth the money. Me, I just like getting wasted in style.

I worked in a backpackers' hostel in China for a month and a half, taking travelers on tours and to pubs (basically the same thing I do for CS'ers) and loved the experience. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm looking to expand my collection.

Surfers: Please remember to ask for what you want. My answer will be either yes or a reluctant no. There's nothing to lose, and potentially loads to gain. Need a new bag, I've got loads, want my old Ozzy Osbourne album, I don't even use CDs anymore. And etc.

I will definitely make suggestions. But they will mostly be along the lines of, "How about a beer?"

I try to be a photographer. Or rather, it is a sometime-reluctant hobby that happens to get me money every now and then. Heh. I actually prefer writing, and hence I love love love trying the best I can to instill this wondrous passion in the young that I come across. My ex-students all know me as a crazy teacher who loves giving the finger instead of sweets, and amusingly enough they enjoy it just as much.

I was a part-time sales executive at a wine shop, and I always made it a point to drink more than I sold.

I love playing a guitar, although I dislike doing so in front of large crowds because some music, in my opinion, isn't meant for anyone other than our most precious ones.

I am, also, a lover of film.

One thing I feel everyone who yet hasn't, should watch the TED Talks.

Well, obviously I'd be able to teach you more about the places I have experienced, and well, since I happen to know a little bit of many things that people would like to learn, be it guitar, photography, writing, etc, I'd be happy to teach you as much as I can about well, pretty much whatever I know.
