ABOUT ME

Well I am from the gorgeous state of Oregon and I love every bit of it. I've traveled a fair bit around the US on a couple of road trips with some quality people and after living in Australia for a year I really REALLY look forward to traveling a bit more.
I'm a stocky punk rock kid, but please don't be frightened. I'm very laid back and look for any opportunity to meet new people, try new things, and the whole nine yards.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't need to make an ass load of money to be happy. I don't need to be the president of a major company. All I need are my friends, family, enough to get by comfortably, and a job where I can have fun and interact.
Though I try my hardest to keep my grades high, I don't feel any less intelligent if the letter on a paper is anything but an "A" or a "B." I'm more than a letter on paper.
I don't like to take anything too seriously, but I know when it's time to buckle down.

I really just want to have fun with the people around me, no matter where I am.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the current point in my life I don't have much time to travel around because of school, work, and the various projects I am engaged in. But, I'm always down to host surfers and will make sure I have the time to entertain. Once I'm finished with school (or get a decent break) I will be hitting the roads and knocking on doors.

I try to keep my options wide and diverse.

- Playing the bass, guitar, saxophone, and didgeridoo.
- Karaoke
- Rugby
- I'm a huge movie and music buff.
- I love tattoos and piercings
- My roommates and I brew our own beer
- I have gone skydiving and am a licensed scuba diver.
- Rock climbing, snowboarding, camping, motorcycling, fishing, etc... anything outdoorsy
- I love savage Garden (please don't be frightened away by this)
- I make the best guacamole you've ever eaten!
- Road tripping with no destination in mind.

The list can go on and on. And I'm always looking to add to it.

There are really too many to list. I enjoy comedy, drama, horror, documentary... Like I said, I'm a movie buff, to get an idea you really just have to talk to me about it.

Music:
Punk mostly, ska, funk, 90's rock, some metal, mambo (only Lou Bega), some 80's... like movies, just talk to me about it.

I'd love to learn some new recipes. I love cooking and I love learning people's own personal methods of food production.
Because music is such a passion of mine I welcome any instruments and would be eager to learn how to play them...specifically, the bagpipes.
